• With more sophisticated systems, the answers are more complex.
• With our bank loan example, the answer was yes or no.
• However, imagine a more sophisticated example, where the system proposed the interest rate or loan amount.
• A good case could be retrieved, but the answer could be adapted to suit the particular case.
• As the case becomes more sophisticated, with more features, and more complex features, the case base will cover the space more sparsely.
• As the answers become more sophisticated, the answers from the case base will need to be modifed to suit the new problem.
