Binary Cell Assemblies
  - I don't think that the academic community has a good idea of
how to get Cell Assemblies (CAs) working in simulated neurons.

  - In particular, it's relatively easy to get a group of neurons
to ignite (get a lot of them firing regularly), and

  - to get them to continue to fire forever.

  - This is what I call a binary cell assembly.

  - It's either on or off.

  - There's not much in the way of intermediate firing.

  - It never stops unless some other system shuts it off.
