Binary Cell Assemblies

• I don't think that the academic community has a good idea of how to get Cell Assemblies (CAs) working in simulated neurons.
• In particular, it's relatively easy to get a group of neurons to ignite (get a lot of them firing regularly), and
• to get them to continue to fire forever.
• This is what I call a binary cell assembly.
• It's either on or off.
• There's not much in the way of intermediate firing.
• It never stops unless some other system shuts it off.
