Self Organising and Intelligence

• A big theme in intelligence is self-organising.
• Really powerful systems are self-organising.
• They work on their own.
• People do this, but so do other systems.
• For example, the evolution of life is a self-organising system.
• This is not well understood by humanity, and furthering our understanding, even in simple ways like SOMs, can be really powerful.
