• It's largely assumed now that people can work remotely.
• You can do some work from home.
• You can access things in the coffee shop via wifi.
• This is supported by the Internet (and wifi).
• However, it also requires that information can be accessed and entered remotely.
• It also requires serious bandwidth for some activities.
• It does enable people to work while travelling so business travel does not prevent one from working.

• Also note that there are security problems.
• If the data can be accessed on the Internet, anyone can access it.
