• Summarization is a pretty hot topic.
• Roughly, given a document summarize it.
• It can be useful to have an automatic summarizer for busy people (like all of us).
• I helped supervise Huong LeThan on a discourse tree generation PhD.
• The ultimate aim of this was to use the top portion of the tree as a summary.
