A simple GATE pipeline
- Next, I wanted to get a full TE system running, and tried to
follow the ANNIE section of the documentation.
- I couldn't make it, but thought a simple pipeline would
be useful.
- So, I made a new pipeline (Annie1)
- ran it,
- and came up with some new annotations
.
- I had some hassles with the document and annotation, so reloaded and
started again.
- The point of GATE is not to get it right the first time. It's to
set up a system that can process a lot of documents.
- Once it's all done, you might want to unwind it, to speed things up,
or improve the results.
- Note that a pipeline is just one document.
- What's really needed is a way of getting the meaning out of documents.
